Cook with art. Blacksmith forged cookware to last a lifetime.
This hand made carbon steel Skillet has a low sloping side wall and a delightfully robust handle, The handle is elegantly tapered to preclude any uncomfortable heat transference. With all of its acute angles and flair it makes for a particularly dramatic serving dish. The 8" pans are a go to breakfast pan, be it for an omelet, frittata, or just a quick hash.
You can expect a carbon steel pan to be appreciably lighter than cast iron, with better non-stick properties. In short: all the benefits of cast iron, but lighter and prettier.
Cookware comes pre-seasoned with extra-virgin coconut oil and are ready for cooking right out of the box. The seasoning present will darken and accumulate over time leading to a more uniform shiny black appearance.
It's a pretty wonderful feeling to be surrounded by aesthetically intriguing, handmade utilitarian objects, that actually get better the more you interact with them.
